About your counsellor

I’m Hannah, a registered member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), with a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.

My approach is warm, authentic, and respectful of each person’s individuality. We all experience life differently and process in different ways. But there are many human experiences we share, and realising you're not alone with your feelings can be transformational.

I believe that meaningful change happens when you feel truly seen, accepted, and supported to explore your inner world safely. 

 

Should I do counselling online or in person?

Being able to meet in person means we get to know each other faster and it may be that this allows trust to build quicker. 

I meet clients face to face at St John's Counselling rooms in Bromsgrove, Worcs, just off the high street. There is plenty of paid parking nearby, or you can park slightly further away and walk 5 or 10 minutes from the residential areas. There is also a downstairs room available if you have accessibility concerns- just let me know on booking. 

If getting to a session is a problem, I'm also happy to host online sessions through Google Meet, which is free and doesn't require any download. You can have counselling from any private, quiet room and most people do it at home, from their safe space.

Or, I am also happy to do a hybrid of the two, as some people like to get to know me in person and then move online, especially if they travel occasionally for work, or cannot always get into the centre. That way, you can still have regular, consistent support on a weekly basis, which yeilds the best results. 

Regardless of how therapy was accessed, over time, feedback from my clients has be about feeling more authentic in themselves, calmer, more decisive, and more purposeful in their lives. If this sounds like your goals, get in touch.
