What should I expect from counselling?
Counselling offers a confidential space where you can speak freely and feel heard without judgement.
We work together at your pace, exploring your experiences, emotions, and patterns of thought in ways that foster understanding and growth.
Sessions last 50 minutes and are held either:
In person at the St John's Counselling rooms in Bromsgrove, Worcs,
or
Online (for adults living anywhere in the UK). For online counselling, you will need a working webcam, speaker (or headphones) and mic on your device. There is no need to download an app or any software.
You can choose to do a mix of in person or online to suit you with enough notice.
Most people attend weekly, though this can be flexible.
Therapy is open-ended — there’s no set number of sessions, and we can review progress whenever you wish.
Prices
Online sessions: £50
In person sessions: £50 + £15 room hire
If you receive financial aid or are a student, let me know so we can discuss concessionary rates.
Payment is due at least 24 hours in advance of the session to confirm attendance (48 hours for in person). Fees are reviewed periodically and may change with six weeks’ notice.
